Garry, the owner of Shear's Salmon Flies and Crafts  has been tying flies for fishermen in this area since 1959 at the age of 7. Quality is guaranteed and the patterns listed are still the old favorites that have been used in this area for many years. Check out the Salmon Flies section to find the main patterns for our area but custom orders can be also made for a slightly higher charge. Please e-mail for confirmation and price. If you are visiting the area for salmon fishing, Garry also has a guide license and is available for some time to take fishermen or photographers to fishing spots or unique areas for nature shots.

Shear's Salmon Flies and Crafts has also branched out into making  jewelry from Moose bone , teeth and antler, as well as from Caribou bone and antler ,Whalebone , and other items. Jewelry can be customized for customers. Jewelry  replicas of Beothuck Indian and Maritime Archaic Indian pennants from moose skull bone and they are hung on real leather thong, are included.

Woodworking items include items for tole painters , Bins for vegetables , shelves , through boxes for log homes , benches , small tables and many other custom designs.  Visual displays of all inventory items available will not be displayed on the website at present, but if you have questions, feel free to e-mail or phone.  Always check back for newer items.

The art work is done by Christopher Shears. He uses India Ink and small nib pens The prints..... Items ordered will be by PostOffice unless you specify otherwise and you will be responsible for the postage cost . Due to my business being private, the best method of payment is C O D . In this way we will both be satisfied.
